Check out this great post, video, and recipes from dietetic intern Bailee Curry!
Staying home with the kids and keeping them busy all day can get difficult. Keeping them fed can be a battle, so what better way to keep them busy and their tummies full than by making some nutritious homemade granola bars. Homemade granola bars require minimal ingredients, short prep times, and no baking. Involving kids in food preparation is a great way to get them interested and help them learn about health, nutrition, and food safety. On top of that, the recipes in this video contain fiber, antioxidants, protein, healthy fats, and are jam packed with vitamins and minerals! The video below shows just how simple and delicious nutrition can be.
So grab the kids, get in the kitchen and have fun with
preparing these nutritious snacks!
Below is also a copy of the recipes used in the video as well so you can ensure you have your ingredients ready to go before following along!
I hope you enjoyed Bailee’s fantastic video and recipes and would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!
Stay safe, healthy, and positive!
